Matt Rice

I am a hardworking person struggling every day of my life with ADHD but continuing to find success.  I grew up in a small Midwest town and, contrary to all my plans, returned and found quick career success, becoming a C-level executive at age 27 after getting onto the ground floor of a niche startup that has become a success.  I have learned so many (often painful) lessons within my career, experiencing wins and losses that have all helped me develop my communication, business, and leadership skills. I struggled mightily my entire educational career and vastly exceeded the expectations of all the people who tried to help me.

The two most important elements in my life are continual learning and continual entertainment.  I strive to enjoy life at all times, becoming extremely comfortable being myself.  I am happiest when I am with a group of friends in public, making a fool of myself for everyone's entertainment.  I am passionate about learning anything and everything I can.  I love diving into history, mysteries, and fantasy stories/worlds.  I believe many lessons can be learned by reading fantasy stories that many people discount.  I have fallen in love with Harry Potter and digest every single bit of HP content possible.  I have also fallen in love with the Realm of The Elderlings world and love diving deep into these fantasy worlds.

I love to discuss anything and everything with people and use these discussions as a platform for learning or teaching. I can talk for hours and hours about topics I am passionate about. I also love talking about things I don't understand because I see it as a great way to learn something.
