Hi, I’m Jose — PhD Scientist turned AI & Data engineer, and founder of RegoData, where I help businesses make sense of their data (without needing a PhD to read the results).

With a background in data science, machine learning, and software engineering, I’ve spent the past few years helping companies across different industries go from “we have a bunch of data” to “wow, this is actually useful.” Whether it's building custom analytics platforms, deploying computer vision models, or designing AI systems that behave more like a smart assistant and less like a confused intern — I’m all about making tech work for people, not the other way around.

RegoData is my way of doing things right: agile, honest, and no BS. We design tailor-made solutions for businesses that need clarity, not dashboards. My projects range from real-time video analysis for safety and security, to automating workflows with AI, to building hardware-powered solutions that respect data privacy (yes, I solder things too — it’s not all code and coffee).

I also enjoy breaking down complex stuff into simple ideas — especially when working with teams that aren’t technical. If I can make you laugh and understand how machine learning works in the same meeting, I consider that a win.

When I’m not wrangling data or tweaking edge devices, I’m probably sketching out ideas for the next tool that will save someone a few hours a week — because time is our most valuable dataset.
