I’m Javier Siriani, an Argentinian-born, with Italian roots, currently living in Buenos Aires. I am an artist, advertiser and brand strategist with 18+ years of experience in creativity, branding, innovation and business.

My professional background involves photography, digital content management, website/app development, and spearheading digital business initiatives across multiple companies. Through my extensive work with digital products, I’ve gained a deep understanding of product team requirements within dynamic, agile environments. My research focus encompasses digital and mobile media consumption, branding, Product Growth, and strategic management within evolving media and communication sectors.

Currently, my studies revolve around AI applications in media, assessing media brand trust, media evolution, conceptualizing and measuring audience engagement, developing mobile media content, marketing strategies, and understanding cross-platform audience behavior.

My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina, a Master’s degree in Content Management from Austral University, and training in photography from the Argentinian School of Photography. Additionally, I pursued Website Design at Da Vinci School, completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Latin American Photography at Motivarte School of Photography, and earned a Postgraduate degree in Digital Business from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina.

My journey into digital content strategy began early in my career as a Mobile Producer within Claxson’s digital teams, overseeing platforms for notable brands like Playboy TV Latin America, FTV, Infinito, Much Music, Venus, and G Channel. Following this, I transitioned to The Walt Disney Company Latin America in 2008 as a Content Distribution Coordinator before stepping into the role of Digital Product Manager at Turner Broadcasting System Latin Americathree years later.

My professional path led me to São Paulo in 2015, where I actively contributed to enhancing digital content within the Brazilian market. Subsequently, I spearheaded the management of UPlay, a MCN for Telefe in Argentina, leveraging my expertise in content management. Joining VIACOMCBS in 2016 marked another pivotal moment in my career as I assumed the role of Multiplatform Manager for Comedy Central, MTV, and Paramount Network Latin America. Here, I directed multiplatform programming content and crafted comprehensive content strategies for non-linear platforms across these channels.

Amidst the challenges posed by the pandemic in 2020, I embarked on a new chapter by joining LA NACIÓN as Lead Commercial Digital Development. Collaborating closely with LN’s partners, I played a key role in curating experiences, developing innovative products, and launching products such as LN Propiedades, LN Campo, LN Bienestar, and LN Movilidad.

In 2022, I took on the position of Head of the Ad Solutions Team at Futbol Sites / Playmaker, overseeing a team of 23 individuals. Our primary objective revolved around establishing a hub of excellence for digital ad content experiences, forging deep connections with fans through compelling storytelling. I led the Bench Brand Lab, which focused on Branded Content & Creative Hub, along with spearheading Advertising BI & Research and managing the Media Strategy & Client Solutions Team.

Regarding my professional experience, I worked either in product or content side with goals in maximizing sales, revenue, market share and profit margins. Explore new growth opportunities systematically in any part of the customer journey, from awareness through marketing to brand ambassadors by optimizing the product.

I am a professor at Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina  (Argentina), Universidad de La Sabana (Colombia) and Universidad Buenos Aires (Argentina). (Marketing, Digital Media, Media Planning, Marketing Innovation & Digital Management Content).

In 2019, I participated as Faculty in the thirteenth Salzburg Academy on Media and Global Change. This year’s Academy gathered 73 students, 19 Faculty, and 20 visiting scholars around the theme of The Cost of Disbelief.

My aim is to continue developing my skills and knowledge, always looking for new opportunities and experiences.
